Cemetery Sunday : The annual Mass for deceased took place in Cloonmorris cemetery on Sunday last. As usual a very large crowd attended. The Mass was concelebrated by Fr. Gerry O’Brien PP Bornacoola and Fr Thomas Healey Adm. St Mel’s, Longford. True to form of the people attending a great collection was made for the upkeep of the cemetery. It was also announced that work would soon commence on the new plot of land that was willed to the cemetery by the late Jim Shanley RIP.
