Anthony Trollope Summer School: The second International Anthony Trollope Summer School takes place in Drumsna on the weekend of September 9th and 10th.Registration and Opening Ceremony takes place on Friday evening. Saturday 10th will commence with registration from 9am to 9.45am . The Chairperson is Fr. Liam Kelly P.P, Author and Historian.At Session 1 Julian Stray, Assistant Curator will speak on the British Postal Museum. In Session 2 Michael Gleeson will speak on Anthony Trollope in and out of Ireland.In Session 3 Teresa Ransom,Author will speak on Mother and Son: Frances and Anthony Trollope.In Session 4 Michael Williamson will speak on “The Kellys and O’Kellys”, Landlords and Tenants.Booking forms may be had from Ella Gannon, Colleen Guckian, Barry Guckian or Leitrim Tourism, The Old Barrel Store, Ck-on-Shannon.

Annaduff lose: Annaduff lost to Drumreilly in the Senior Championship in Ballinamore on Saturday by 2-8 to 1-12.It is hard to know how Annaduff lost as they despite playing badly were the superior team however Drumreilly scored the last goal and two points with goal scored by James Holohan . Best for Annaduff were David Duignan, Ray Cox David McHugh and Joe Cox.Annaduff now face as “Must win match” against Ballinamore this weekend on Saturday at 7.30 in Carrick. Well done to the Bors on a great win against county champios Glencar/ Manor.
