WEDDING BELLS - On Friday 11th March last St. Columba’s Church, Mullinalaghta was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Regina MacCormac, daughter of Dan and the late Nan MacCormac, Cloonagh was united in holy matrimony with Kieran O’Carolan, who hails from Mohill.

The ceremony with Nuptial Mass was performed by Fr. P.J. Fitzpatrick. The bride who looked radiant in her splendid dress was given away by her father Dan. Regina had her sister Sinead McGovern as chief bridesmaid with Mary Slevin doing the role of bridesmaid. Noel McKeon was bestman and was assisted by Joseph O’ Carolan. The readings were in the capable hands of Domhnall MacCormac, Oonagh Bryce and Sharon O’Carolan. Maria Keogh, Dylan Gaffey, Eamon Bryce, Erin Clarke McCormack, Ian Koch and Eadaoin McCormack took care of the Prayers of the Faithful. The Communion Reflection was given by Tracy Kivlehan. Suitable music for the occasion was performed by Josephine McCaffrey and Bohemian Strings. Afterwards the happy couple together with their families and friends travelled to The Lough Rynn Castle Hotel where a very enjoyable meal was provided, which was followed later by lively entertainment with everyone having a marvellous time. On behalf of their families and many friends we take this opportunity of wishing Kieran and Regina every happiness and good luck in their life together.
