Ballinalee Connemara pony show wish to thank all who supported the recent table quiz in the Stags Head Ballinalee. Thanks to Jimmy Fox, quizmaster and to Jerome & Carmel for the use of their premises. Thank you also to everyone who sponsored raffle prizes. A lovely set of quiz questions provided an entertaining night for all. The pony show will be on 12th June this year and will be the 25th show. So we are hoping for a successful show to mark this special occasions. New and exciting competitions are already confirmed.
Farm accounts and taxation course. A farm accounts and taxation course will be held in the Old Schoolhouse, Ballymahon Road, Edgeworthstown in the coming weeks. The course is aimed at helping farmers prepare computerised farm records and an understanding of basic farm taxation. The main objective of the course is to help farmers plan their business and tax more efficiently. The course will be run over 4 nights with the initial two nights in March and the remainder in November. For further details contact 087 2478835.
