WELL DONE - Congratulations to Eilish McLoughlin from Croshea, who won the solo singing section in the Leinster Senior scor on Sunday last in Ballymore, Westmeath, Eilish now represents Leinster and Longford in the All Ireland scor final in Killarney on 9th April.

A farm accounts and taxation course will be held in the old School house, Ballymahon road, Edgeworthstown in the coming weeks. The course is aimed at helping farmers prepare computerised farm records and an understanding of basic farm taxation. The main object is to help farmers plan their business and tax more efficiently. Community Games Talent competitions will take place on Sunday 20th at 2pm in The Hall in Newtowncashel. All competitors must be under 14 years of age. Ceolchoirm seachtain na nGaeilge, will take place at 1pm on Saturday 19th March in The Pavillion on the Green. Juniors and beginners will play Basic tunes, followed by Set dancing, singing, and more advanced musicians and groups. Parents and grandparents welcome.
C.C.E Membership is now closed, but if anyone wishes to perform at this years fleadh ceol, they may do at a cost of €10 per category. The fleadh Ceol takes place in Granard on May 7th and 8th .

Meet other carers for a chat and a cuppa while your toddler plays with the toys. An activity schedule is being arranged and will be available shortly; this will include arts and crafts, music, dance and story telling.
