Beautiful Clondra

Clondra looking splendid, what a success story. The re opening of the Canal is a most important and fantastic development for the area. Well done to all who took part in the re-opening of this beautiful waterway. The park area, children's play area and the Canal itself looks splendid. This development has to be good for the whole area. The tranquillity and gentle peace of Clondra makes it a wonderful relaxing spot. Waterways Ireland, local volunteers and supporters of the reopening of the Canal are to be congratulated. The 50euro million or so of taxpayers money spent on the reopening of the Canal from Dublin to Clondra is money well spent
