Last year, the Longford Rose Centre achieved fantastic success at the Rose of Tralee International Festival, with 2013 Rose Aisling Farrell representing the county on stage at The Dome.

This year, the centre are hoping to repeat that success, with the search for the 2014 Longford Rose well and truly underway.

Member of the Longford Rose committee and former Longford Rose Grainne Fox is encouraging local ladies to get involved in the event.

“It’s a once in a lifetime experience, and you do make friends for life,” she explains.

If you are between 18 and 27 years of age and are interested in taking part in the prestigious competition, or if you know someone who would be perfect for the role, contact the Longford Rose Centre by emailing longfordrose@gmail.com or message the centre on their Facebook page, ‘Longford Rose Centre’.

The deadline is fast approaching, so don’t miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime!
