Longford Triathlon Club member Brendan Doyle finished 10th place overall in Ireland’s toughest race.
Brendan completed last weekend’s gruelling Donegal event, which comprised of 260km across the least hospitable terrain, in an very impressive 20 hours.
The 260km was made up of 15km of kayaking, 175km of cycling, 5km of mountain running/scrambling and 65km of road & trial running.

Brendan is the junior officer with Longford Triathlon Club and members were very proud of his fantastic achievement and they said it was well deserved after all the effort, preparation and training that he put into this! “Brendan showed us how it’s done!”
