SHANE BRENNAN 5K: The 5K charity run/walk will take place on this Sunday Jan 9th.The walk will commence at 12.45pm and the run will start at 1pm. Entry fee for walk is 10 euro and run 15 euro.

Junior entrants 5 euro. All profits go to Longford Alzheimers Society. Free woolly hats to the first 300 entries.

FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY

This Thursday 6th January is the feast of the Epiphany. Vigil Mass on Wednesday at 7.30pm. Mass on Thursday at 7.30pm.

CLONGUISH GAA

The AGM of Clonguish GAA will be held on Friday 21st Jan in the Ralph Room of the Complex. Nomination papers will be in circulation in the coming weeks.

FIRST FRIDAY

This Friday Jan 7th is the First Friday of January 2011. The usual house calls will be made at the usual times.

SYMPATHY

We extend sincere sympathy to the relatives of Mel Casserly formerly of Ballagh who died in England and also to the McGarry family Caldra on the recent death of Anne McDermott, Longford town.
