Newtowncashel GAA. Club holds its Annual General Meeting in the Clubhouse on this Saturday, the 8th of January, at 5.00 p.m. sharp. All members are requested to attend the AGM.
Recitation of the Rosary resumes on Friday the 14th of January at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome.
The amount of litter that is appearing around Cashel is quite disturbing., especially the Clonmee/Newpark road where the unusual sight of the litter being displayed up on the bushes can be seen...a number of people have contacted me to highlight this in the Local Notes.

ROSE OF LOUGH REE
The recent Rose of Lough Ree function, in aid of Clonard Monastery, was a resounding success.It was a great night's entertainment and special thanks must go to both Declan Gilmore and Dermot Nolan for all their hard work in organising it.Full details will appear in next week's notes.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament returns on Wednesday the 12th of January, 3.00 p.m. to 9.300 p.m.
An important date for everyone to note in their diary is the 8th January as the AGM is scheduled to take place on Saturday evening at 5pm. Numbers drawn on 26th December were 7, 11, 13,16. Numbers drawn on the 2nd January 6,20,27,28. There was no jackpot winner. Thirty euro winner Mike Kenny. Twenty euro winners; Damien Mulvihill, Derek Farrell, Ronan Farrell. Next week's drawn takes place in Fallons. Team on duty are Maggie Melia, Rosaleen Egan, Michael Donlon.
