Competitions for Table Tennis, Draughts and Indoor Soccer will begin later in the month and we wish all participants the very best of luck in their games and matches. In the meantime, keep up the good work with training and hopefully we won't have too many more weather disruptions.

A get well wish to Mrs Carney Ohill who is now home from hospital , also to all parishioners in hospital or unwell at home. We hope everyone will have a bright health New Year ahead


Sincere sympathy is extended to the Quinn families Aughadowry Ballinamuck Co Longford ; Campbell families Corneddan Killloe on the sad bereavement of their mother Mrs Kathleen Quinn (nee Martin) who was recently laid to rest. We express sympathy to her son Sean , daughter Peggy (Campbell) all extended family members, sons/ daughters in law, grandchildren,relatives, friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St Patrick's Church Ballinamuck with burial in Ballinamuck new cemetery. May she rest in peace.

It's great to see water on tap again and good to see the community spirit is still alive and kicking in response to all those in dire straits. Ennybegs Community Centre Killoe bingo resumes on Friday 7 January 2011 at 8.30pm. The committee welcome back everyone after the horrendous icy patch and wish you good health and luck for 2011.

The Progressive 25 Cards finisihed on December 20 and the winners were : first prize - Mary Cahill, second prize - Seamus Murtagh with Tommy O'Malley with the lowest score and was there every night. We start the new season on January 17 and hope to see you all back again. Come along and try your luck - it starts a 8.30pm nightly with a cut of tea served. OUr Annual New Year Party is on Sunday at 2pm and hte AGM is on Monday January 10 at 8pm.
