Council takes Ballymahon estate in charge

Longford County Council have taken in charge Auburn Village housing estate in Ballymahon.

Longford County Council have taken in charge Auburn Village housing estate in Ballymahon.

Speaking at the local authority’s recent monthly meeting in December, Jack Kilgallen, director of services for housing, said, “This is one of the unfinished housing estates that we’re taking in charge.”

Cllr Paddy Belton asked what stage the estate is at in terms of negotiations. “I’m informed that it’s at a very good standard,” said Mr Kilgallen in reply.
