People in Longford are being invited to experience the “magical and mysterious healing power of angels” at a full day workshop in November.
“A growing belief in the existence of angels and their power to help us humans in every area of physical and spiritual life has generated a heartfelt urge within many people to open up to these heavenly beings of light and connect to their healing energies,” organiser Anne Sweeney told the Leader.
The workshop, which runs from 10.30am to 5pm and costs e50, will include meditations and visualisations to soothing music along with angel oracle cards, exercises to balance the seven charka energy centres and lots of angel wisdom.
“Angels play a major role is helping to expand consciousness and the workshop will enable people to make a powerful connection to these ethereal beings and in the process garner healing, guidance and personal empowerment”, explained Anne.
The angel workshop is being facilitated by former journalist Anne Sweeney, a native of Ballinamore, Co Leitrim. Anne “re-opened her heart” to angels several years ago when she first begun practicing Reiki, a Japanese form of complementary or alternative medicine, developed (or rediscovered) during the latter half of the 19th century.
Anne is a Seichem Reiki Master and experienced angel light-worker who runs classes and courses on angels in Dublin, where she now lives. However, she is no stranger to these parts having previously worked with the Longford News. Anne has also staged previous workshops in Longford, Leitrim and Cavan in recent years.
“Angels changed my life and they are now part and parcel of my everyday world. I want to share that passion with others, to spread the world, to help people realise how easy it is to make that angelic connection and feel the massive positive changes and blessings they being to our lives,” she said.
And she believes that everyone can have a unique and personal experience with their angels and to be touched by them at a deep level. The workshop is suitable for those new to angels as well as those who want to deepen their connection, Anne said.
The workshop will take place upstairs in Kelleher’s on Longford’s Main Street on Sunday November 11th. Booking is necessary. For more information contact Anne at 086 341303 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
