Many parents also recognise the commitment of teachers. Parents feel that teachers have not just a vital academic role to play but also a major role in the personal development of their child. The judging panel have no small task in choosing a winner from heart-felt nominations that they have received.

The winners will receive: a Perpetual Trophy, a framed Certificate, €100 Gift Certificate for www.abcbooks.ie, a luxury weekend package and the title ‘Teacher of the Year 2012’.
