The numbers drawn were 2, 10, 20, 28. As the numbers were not chosen by anyone the jackpot of 2400 euro remained intact. Consolation prizes of 20 euro each were won by the following. John Matthews, Toome, Dring, Longford. Toni Lynch, Culleenmore, Dring, Longford. Bernard Donohoe, Derrycasson, Dring, Longford and Christy Reilly, Clooneen, Granard, Longford. Results of draw in The Hideaway will appear in this column in the next edition of this newspaper. Forthcoming draw will take place Keogh's. Tickets for same are now on sale from the usual outlets. Your support would be very much appreciated.


Preparations are now well underway for this year's Christmas play which will be held in the local community centre on Saturday 18th December. The children have been preparing diligently for the past few weeks. I have been informed that some very interesting items are on the programme with something for all tastes. Once again the date is Saturday 18th December with proceedings getting underway at 7.45p.m


St. Columba's G.F.C and Mullinalaghta Community Centre committee are presently selling tickets for their massive Christmas bonanza draw. There are fantastic prizes to be won, including a fabulous 22" Flatscreen HD TV, Massive Christmas Hamper, Meal voucher for 2 in The Piker's Lodge, Vouchers for reflexology, chiropody, hairdressing. Meat voucher. Christmas table decoration, plum pudding, bottle of brandy, bottle of whiskey and lots of other prizes on the night of the draw which will take place on Tuesday 21st December. Tickets are just 2 euro each or book of three for 5 euro.


Until further notice, the Vigil Mass will be celebrated in St.Columba's Church each Saturday evening at 7.00p.m.
