Over the past week we all have been experiencing terrible wintery conditions. In our area up to four inches of snow fell and with the very low temperature conditions we are experiencing at present everyone is having a tough time with every day activities. Roads in the area are still very dangerous and all motorists are reminded to take great care while out on the roads.

All schools in the area were closed most of last week and a number of local events planned to take place were cancelled.

All locals are asked to continue and check in on our older community especially people living alone to ensure they are safe and have lots of essential household supplies. We all hope that the weather temperatures rise over the coming days and that we can soon get back to normal weather. Please remember to take extreme care while out driving as black ice is still on our roads.
