The Musical which the Transition Year Students at Ballymahon performed for three nights was an outstanding success. The Musical which was held in the School Gym drew huge crowds on each of the nights, despite the harsh conditions. Great credit is due to all involved.

THE LATE PJ CLABBY
It was with deep regret that we learnt of the peaceful death, at his home on November 30, of Mr Patrick (PJ) Clabby, Pallas, Abbeyshrule. PJ who is pre-deceased by his wife Margaret Mary and daughter Cora was a quiet, hard-working farmer, a great husband, father and neighbour who was always willing to lend a hand whenever he was called upon. He was admired and respected by the whole community. PJ's remains were brought to the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Forgney in the presence of a large number of family, relatives and friends. His remains were laid to rest on Friday last at the adjoining cemetery. We offer our sincere sympathy to PJ's sons, Frank, Declan, Kevin and David to his daughters Dympna and Geraldine, daughters-in-lawy, sons-in-law, brothers, sister, grandchildren, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
