Longford political guru pens new book

Ongoing economic difficulties and political upheavals brought about by the last general election could “possibly” see an end to dynastic politics in Ireland, a well known Longford based author has admitted.

Political commentator and business consultancy expert Johnny Fallon was speaking days after the launch of his third book ‘Dynasties: Irish Political Families’ was unveiled in front of a select audience in Dublin’s Buswell’s Hotel last week.

Mr Fallon, did however concede the country’s tendency to extend the lineage of renowned political families was not necessarily consigned to the past.
