Longford man, Mark O’Shea (30), continues to fight for his life at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Longford man, Mark O’Shea (30), continues to fight for his life at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Mr O’Shea, a native of Longford town and a resident of Killashee, was seriously assaulted in the Townspark area of Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, on Sunday December 18 last.

Gardai in the town are currently investigating the incident, which occurred at 3.15am.
