Things have been a bit hectic for me since I was informed and its particularly crazy at the moment because I have exams on as well. Last Sunday I did a photo shoot for Life Magazine in the Independent and later that day I sat an exam, she said. The daughter of Sean and Patricia reported that there are 22 competitors battling it out for the title. She has already met seven of her rivals at the photo shoot but she had no tales of raging divas or ice cold beauty queens.

Everyone seemed really nice which helped ease the pressure of it all, she stated.

Aoife is currently a registered model in Andrea Roches modelling agency.

It was Andrea who put my name forward for the Miss Born contest which I won and from that they chose me to represent them in Miss Universe Ireland.

A glittering cast of personalities are due to appear on the night including potential hosts Glenda Gilson and TV3s Alan Hughes, Rosanna Davidson, Pippa OConnor and Xpos presenter Lisa Cannon.
