Gardai have released a man arrested yesterday in connection with an investigation into a 4 million euro investment fraud.
A man arrested in County Leitrim yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into a €4 million investment fraud and associated money laundering has been released without charge.

A man arrested in County Leitrim yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into a €4 million investment fraud and associated money laundering has been released without charge.

Officers from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation and the Criminal Assets Bureau took the 49-year-old man into custody yesterday morning and he was detained at Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He was released without charge late last night and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
