Door to door services to continue

Following the recent announcement by the Department of Transport on the restructuring of the Rural Transport Programme, the message to all existing passengers and stakeholders is that the “door to door” services will continue to be provided as part of the rural transport services.

Ballymahon Men’s Group Horticulture Training: The group is currently meeting on Tuesdays from 9am to 12noon. A range of other activities can be organised to meet the requirements of the members. Granard Area Men’s Shed: The group meets every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in Lus na Gréine Family Resource Centre. The men are currently learning about the resources and facilities available in the centre. They are busy devising an activity plan and exploring ways to raise funds to fund outings.
