Scoil Mhuire Student goes International: Best of luck to Leanne Diviney who is participating in the Irish Dancing Worlds in Boston this week.

Creative Writing for Teens: The Longford Library will facilitate a creative writing course for six weeks for all students, free of charge. It will take place every Wednesday from 4:30-5:45pm beginning April 17th. Contact Longford Library if you are interested in putting your name down for this course.

Ladies Gaelic football: Students Orla Canning, Nicole Lynch and Tori McGoey are travelling to Scotland form the 22nd- 24th March with Longford Ladies 2012 u14 panel to take part in a tournament with teams from Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. Best of luck to the girls!

TG4 Appearance: On Tuesday 19th Transition Year student Samantha McHale appeared on Scor an Cor on TG4. She sang the hits ‘A-team’ and ‘Little Talks’ as gaeilge. It was a truly impressive performance by Samantha. Well done!

Playboy of the Western World: A well deserved congratulations to Ms. O’Brien, Rebecca McVeigh and Clare Farrell for doing the school proud with their performances in the Playboy of the Western World. The play received rave reviews from the students and staff members who viewed the play on Tuesday last.
