ST ANN'S CHURCH: The 190th Anniversary Celebration of the Consecration of St. Ann's Church, Annaduff took place on Sunday week last with Service with Rev. Bill Atkins. Bishop Ken Clarke was the special Preacher.St.Ann's was consecrated on 3rd December 1820.

GOAL MILE

Leitrim's 7th annual Goal Mile will take place on January 1st at 2pm in Bornacoola G.A.A grounds in Dromod.Special Guests include Charlie McGettigan, Mick Flavin, Longford Pipe Band, O'Neill School of Dancing.Details from Noel Mahon @ 087 12646931.Sponsorship Cards are available from Noel at 0872646931. Following the walk Tommy Washington will take the stand for an auction with many items to auction.

GAA DRAW

Tickets are 20 euro each or 3 for €50. Draw will take place in Taylors of Drumsna on the 8th January 2011. TIckets are available on Annaduff G.A.A Website or from club members.

GUN CLUB

Bornacoola Gun Club will hold their annual draw in the Copper Still, Dromod on this Friday night December 17th with over fifty prizes. Cards are available from club members.

WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations to John McGuinness, Clooncarne, Bornacoola and Fiona Byrne, Mallow, Co. Cork who were married in St. Michael's Church, Bornacoola on Saturday week with the reception in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. We wish John and Fiona many years of happiness.

THE LATE ANNE FFRENCH

Deepest Sympathy is extended to the FFrench family, Kilmore on the death of Ann FFrench (nee Hayes) wife of Alan and mother of Alan and Andrea deeply regretted by her family, daughter-in-law Teresa, son -in -law Terry, grandson Matthew, sisters Maureen and Terry. Removal took place to Dangan Church with burial in Kilmore Cemetery. May she rest in Peace.

The death occurred in London on December 4th of John (Sean) Reynolds formerly of Lisduff, Jamestown. Sean was predeceased by his brothers Steve, Val, James, Tony and Eamonn.Sean spent most of his working life in England.He is survived by his wife Kathleen , sons and daughters. Funeral takes place in London this week. May he rest in Peace.
