MONSTER DRAW: Reminder the time is getting closer for Emmet Og Killoe GFC's monster annual Christmas draw with a handsome 5000 euro in prizes plus a wild big Christmas hamper to help you through the Christmas season.

The event plus draw will be held in Keogh's trad bar main Street Longford where a warm welcome awaits you on Friday 17 December 2010. Tickets are available from all club officials and players including local outlets. Music and refreshments will add to a great night of entertainment and animate that Christmas spirit. All support will be greatly appreciated. The Longford county GAA convention was held on Thursday last and we congratulate the Emmet Og Killoe GFC members on their election. COMMUNITY GAMES

Table tennis and draughts training were both cancelled during the past week due to the bad weather and unsafe road conditions. Training for both activities return to normal for this week. Our meeting scheduled for last Friday night was also cancelled. This will now take place early in January instead.

The parish extend a very hearty happy birthday greetings to Jack Stewart Bundoon Killoe who celebrated a surprise event joined by families, extended families and friends to honour a great milestone in Jack's long span eventful life last week. To Jack and his wife Jean and families we express good wishes for many more years filled with great health and happiness. Congratulations Jack . Happy 90th birthday.

Congratulations to Malachy and Elizabeth Flanagan Crann Lur Ennybegs Killoe on the recent birth of a bouncy baby boy and welcome mate for brother Osian.
