There was a familiar face among the studio audience on RTE’s Prime Time Programme last night, in the form of Longford Chamber of Commerce President Seamus Butler.
Mr Butler was one of several contributors who took part in a discussion focusing on the problems linked to Ireland’s retail sector.
The one time county councillor spoke of the successes brought about by the Longford Expo held last year and the need to revise existing commercial rates legislation.
The discussion also saw views put forward by Minister for Housing Jan O’Sullivan and accountant Eilis Quinlan.
