Robbery in Edgeworthstown

A quantity of cash was taken during a robbery which took place in Edgeworthstown this morning (Friday).

A quantity of cash was taken during a robbery which took place in Edgeworthstown this morning (Friday).

At 10.30am, two people wearing balaclavas entered an Estate Agents in Edgeworthstown, one of them armed with a knife. They held up staff at the premises before making off on foot with the cash and a mobile phone.

Anyone with any information on the robbery are urged to contact Longford Garda Station on 043 33 46741.
