As part of this year’s Gathering celebrations, Dara Breadon is organising a class reunion of the 1973 class of Ballymahon’s Convent of Mercy Secondary School, which will take place in the autumn.
“There were over 60 pupils in my class and I want to contact as many as possible,” Dara said. “Some of them may still be living in the area or have family living there.”
Former pupils who wish to attend the event can contact Dara by phoning 087 9166238 or by emailing ballymahonclassof1973@gmail.com. A Facebook account has also been set up under ‘Dara Breadon’, and some class photos have been posted on it.
