From Saturday, August 31 to Sunday, September 1, the final of the Irish canoe polo will be held on Clondra harbour.

The final is a culmination of the canoe polo competitions that were held at various venues during the summer months. Approximately 30 teams will take part in the competition. The local interest will be represented by two teams from the Cavan Canoe Club.

Canoe polo is a physically tough game but it is also a great spectator sport and gathers great crowds from across the country. The Clondra harbour is an excellent venue for spectators and competitors alike.
