The Discovery Program of Lake settlement project on Lake Kinael and Lake Derragh book is still on sale and would make a wonderful Christmas gift. This book is produced by Ms. Christina Fredengren along with Longford County Council, about the discovery of the dig of artefacts on these two lakes. The book can be purchased in P.J. Farrell's Food Store Abbeylara, Mc Entee's Granard, Geraldine Clarke Finea, Maura in Granard Area Action Office and P.J. Reilly Ballinacross. This book is very interesting, a book with great insight of how people lived and developed our landscape seven thousand years ago.
