Lotto draw: The local lotto draw was held on Sunday night last. Numbers drawn were 12, 14, 15, 18.

There was no jackpot winner. 40 euro winner was Alec McCloughrey. 20 euro each went to Seamus Clancy; Marcella McKiernan and Peter McLoughlin. Winners in the Christmas draw were Michael Tiernan (turkey) Pat Fallon (ham) Caroline Finn (cake) Peter McLoughlin (whiskey) Caroline Finn (gin) Damien Neary (biscuits), Seamus Dolan (wine) Willie Mulvihill (wine), Mel Skelly (wine),Conor Farrell (wine). The next draw will be held on January 3rd in the Richmond Inn, Clondra for a jackpot of 13360 euro. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

CEREMONIES

The Christmas ceremonies for the parish are as follows Christmas Eve December 24th Mass in St Paricks Church Killashee at 9pm. Christmas Day December 25th Mass in St Brendan's Church Clondra at 10.30am. St Stephens Day December 26th Mass in St Patricks Church Killashee at 10.30am and in St Brendan's Church Clondra at 8pm. Confessions will be available all day on Friday 24th December in St Mel's Cathedral Centre Longford.

WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations to Aine Fallon and Michael Jameson Derryohill on their recent marriage. The wedding took place in St Dominics Church Kenagh and the ceremony was celebrated by Fr Tom Barden and Fr Pierre Pepper. Bridesmaids were Mary Flynn and Miriam Walshe while David Casey was bestman and Gerald Lennon was groomsan. The happy couple were joined by family and friends to celebrate the occasion in the park hotel in Mullingar where a great time was had by all. We wish Aine and Michael long life and happiness together.

CONGRATS

Congratulations to Anthony Dooner Killashee on his re-election as treasurer of Longford County Board.

COLLECTTION

The recent Church gate collection for meals on wheels raised 311 euro. Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously.
