Mr and Mrs event in Ballyleague

Members of staff at Innis Ree Lodge Nursing Home, Ballyleague are organising a ‘Mr and Mrs’ event in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation. The fun event, which will be held on May 17 at 8pm in the Peer Inn, Lisnacusha, will be hosted by Joe and Clare Finnegan.

Caroline O’Reilly and Eileen Burke are taking part in a fundraising walk in Croatia later this year in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation. In order to raise funds for that trip and raise money for the charity, they, along with fellow staff members Siobhan Curran and Elaine Daly have organised the charity night in Lisnacusha.

Five local couples will be taking part in the Mr and Mrs Event, with music on the night by Actin Da Maggot.

The five couples are: Martin and Joe and Martina Cribben (Daybreak-Tops Filling Station Ballyleague); Gareth and Ann Marie Johnston (Johnstons Pharmacy); Packie and Teresa Reilly (Rathcline Road) ; and Fiona Egan and Kevin Hanley.

Tickets are €5, which includes admission and entry to monster draw on the night for an array of amazing prizes. The draw will be conducted by local publican Adie Farrell.

The long list of prizes include: a signed poster and two CDs by Niall Horan from One Direction; a signed pair of Olympian John Joe Nevin boxing gloves; two premium level tickets to the 2013 Leinster final; a Wine Port Lodge VIP experience night away break; The Sheraton Hotel Athlone one night away break; Connaught rugby club signed Jersey; Donegal football team signed jersey; voucher for Kings Chines Chines in Roscommon; voucher for The Black Olive restaurant in Longford; voucher for Viewmount House in Longford; two tickets to see Kenny Rogers at Killarney’s INEC; VIP night for 15 friends at The Wright Venue, Swords, Dublin and two tickets for Mike Denver’s dance in The Abbey Hotel Roscommon; a night away for two in Kilronan Castle; and a voucher for two from Michelle Connaughton of Cloud Nine Beauty Salon, Lanesboro.
