The second round qualifier had been scheduled for a 7pm throw-in time, before GAA chiefs opted for an earlier start time on Monday afternoon.

A Garda spokesperson urged road users to avail of nearby car parking facilities and to avoid obstructing entrances to businesses and housing estates ahead of the eagerly awaited clash.

Supporters intent on attending the Roscommon-Tyrone clash, also scheduled for 2pm, have been advised to travel through Edgworthstown, Ballymahon and Lanesboro to avoid delays.
