PIKE ANGLERS

Ballinamore pike anglers fished for the Drumcoura Horse Riding Centre Shield on Drumcoura Lake on Saturday 29th January: 1st Dave Crosby 12lb 4ozs; 2nd Mick Crosby 11lb 6ozs; 3rd John Creamer 11lb 2ozs

It was a very cold day out on the lake but fishing was good with over 20 fish caught. The Gallagher brothers were there in force, but sadly failed to impress. Barry Taylor hadn't much to say either as the Conger Gilheaney put him in his place with a 10lb 11oz pike.

HEARTSAFE

The church gate collection next week, Sat 19th and Sun 20th Feb, will be for Ballinamore Heartsafe. Insurance and replacement of incidentals such as batteries, defib pads, wipes and tissue are our main expenses. We are very fortunate to have our voluntary trainers who give their time freely and we are also grateful to the Sean O'Heslin Club who allows us to use their facilities free of charge. There will be training dates announced shortly and times and day will be texted or phoned to everyone. Thank You for your support.

Just to say a special THANK YOU for all the help during October Breast Cancer 'Going Pink Campaign'. A special thanks to the ladies who collected outside Supervalu and Tesco's on Pink Ribbon Day. Thanks also to the management & staff of Supervalu, Tesco's, Ballinamore Credit Union, Enhance Hair & Beauty and PJ Reynolds Hardware for selling key rings & badges over the month of October and finally a big thank you to everyone who donated. Sharon Sweeney.
