PARISH LOTTO

The Committee of Annaduff Parish and G.A.A Lotto would like to thank all our contributors during 2010( Our 15th Year). The money collected was 30,405 euro.It was distributed as follows: 8,000 euro To fund Churches and Cemetery; 8,000 euro Towards Playing Facilities for our young people; 1,000 euro To St. Ann's Church of Ireland; 11,950 euro To Lotto Prizes; 1,455 euro to cost of Lotto Envelopes At the draw held in Cox's Steakhouse, Dromod, there was no Jackpot winner.The 50 euro winner was Marguerite O'Donohoe, Dublin. The 50 euro winner was Triona Quigley. The 25 euro winners were Matty Cox, Antfield, Bernadette Faughnan, Finnelaughta, Brendan Burke, Kilmore and Tom Flanagan, Mohill. The next draw will take place on Sunday night next in Taylor's of Drumsna with a Jackpot of 1,400 euro.

FAMILY FESTIVAL

The Dromod Family Festival takes place on Sunday 1st May 2011.One of the main attractions will again be an over 40's match between Bornacoola and Annaduff. The main events will take place in Noreen Diffleys Field in the Village Centre.

THE LATE KATHLEEN BUTLER

The death occurred on February 5th of Kathleen Butler ( Nee McWeeney), Annaughkeenty, Kilnagross in her 95th year wife of the late Frank, mother of Marie ( Sr.Ursula, Athlone), Shane ( Jamestown), Martha Clarke ( Mullingar),Goretti Glacken ( Letterkenny), and Frank ( Kilnagross), step mother of Rita ( Dublin) and Pauline Quinn ( Longford).May she rest in Peace.

NEW ARRIVAL

Congratulations to Michelle and John Gannon, Drumgildra on the birth of a baby girl called Catherine and congratulations also to the proud grandparents Mena and Joe Beirne, Rooskey and Ella and Jim Gannon, Drumsna.

SYMPATHY

The death occurred on February 2th at The Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey of Bernard ( Bernie) Dennigan, Tommoskey, Rooskey deeply regretted by his wife Moira, brothers Tony and Jim, sister Bridie Lawe, step family Loretta, Antoinette and Sean. Removal took place to St. Michaels Church, Bornacoola with burial in Cloonmorris Cemetery.May he rest in Peace.
