The Park House Hotel in Edgeworthstown has been sold at auction for €150,000.
The landmark property went under the hammer earlier today at the Allsop Space Property Auction, which is taking place at the RDS in Dublin.
According to the listing on the auctioneers’ website, the sale also included a derelict two-bedroom house and a seven-day publicans licence.
The hotel comprises a reception area, bar and lounge, toilets, restaurant and ballroom, and living area at ground level, with 22 bedrooms on the first floor.
The winning bid of €150,000 met the reserve price, which was advertised as being in the range of €140,000-€160,000.
The identity of the purchaser is not yet known.
