1st YEAR BLITZ: On Thursday the 21st of February two first year GAA teams took part in a blitz in Mullingar. The blitz was organised by Damien Sheridan, Longford Coaching and Development officer. Both teams took part in this seven aside competition playing the Mercy Convent Ballymahon and Saint Finians of Mullingar. The day ended with a hard fought contest between the two mighty Moyne sides with Moyne two coming out on top. A great day was had by all. Thanks to Mr Nolan and Damien Sheridan for organising the event.

HARD LUCK LADIES: Hard luck to the senior girls’ soccer team who were narrowly defeated by the Sacred Heart Secondary school in Tullamore last Thursday. Well done to our goal scorer Emer Heaney. A big thanks goes to Miss Keogh for all her hard work and dedication to the team.
