We were addressed onthe subject of Yoga at our meeting on last Wednesday, and hope to do acourse on same extending over a number of weeks. All members, who wishto avail of the proposed course, or seek further details on same, areasked to contct the Secretary or any officer as soon as possible. The newly-published Drumreilly Centenary Magazine, commemorating the consecration of St. Mary's Church in September 1872, went on sale. Presentations were made to recently married Elizabeth Murray andGerard McKiernan called to Garda training, both members of Drumreilly Youth Club. Carmel McKiernan (Ballad) and Sen Maxwell (Novelty Act)were winners in the Leitrim Scor Seachto final. The Drumreilly Players with a cast of Bridget K. Maguire R.I.P. Mary Corby, Kitty Holahan, Sen Maxwell, Pee McCabe R.I.P. Thomas Maxwell R.I.P. Mattie Fee and Pat Conefrey were rehearsing Bernard J. McCarthy's three- act comedy "One Day You'll Find It". A Cookery demonstration by Mr. Frank Moynihan was conducted in Drumreilly Community Centre on Wednesday December 8th. The profits accruing from the event, a sum of 1600 euro has been forwarded to the Children's Medical and Research Fund, Our Lady's Hospital, Crumlin. The coordinators Noel and Christina Connolly, Crickeen wish to thank all who contributed to the wonderful work being done for sick children.
