WEDDING BELLS: Congratulations to Cathaldus Hartin Swan lake Drive Loch Gowna (Portanure) and Clare Bannon Belfast who were married on Thursday 28th December 2010 in St Michael's Church Enniskillen.
To celebrate the occasion a reception was held in Lough Erne Resort Hotel Enniskillen where a good time was had by all. We wish Cathadlus and Clare a long and happy life together.

Her remains were removed from her residence to St Aidan's Church Butlersbridge on Saturday and following requiem Mass at 12 noon burial took lace in local cemetery. May she rest in peace.

MRS AGNES BRADY
It was with deep regret that we learnt of the death of Mrs Agnes Brady Corfree Loch Gowna Co Cavan on Thursday 6th January at castle manor nursing home Cavan. In her ninetieth year predeceased by her husband Paddy in 1978, she was a lady of great dignity and warm personality and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and especially by her loving family sons Brian and Gerry, daughters Madge, Bridie Una and Bernadette, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, sister in law, relatives and many friends to whom we offer our deepest sympathy. Agnes remains were removed from Finnnegans Funeral Home Cavan on Saturday evening to the Church of the holy family Loch Gowna and following requiem Mass on Sunday burial took place in adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.
Any person interested in joining a CE project in the Gowna area must be signing with social welfare for 52 weeks or more and also be registered with Fas and inform Fas they are interested in joining a CE project. The Fas office is situated in Thomas Ashe St Cavan.

There was widespread sadness in the parish and surrounding areas with the news of the untimely death of Eddie Fitzsimons Dingins Corlesmore. Eddie had a great love for music and had played for many years along with his band The Bright Lights which included his wife Margaret and the late JP Dermody. He visited Nashville Tennesse many times to meet his good friend American country music legend Porter Wagoner. Whenever a fundraising event was taking place Eddie was sure to attend and take part. He will be sadly missed by all who were entertained by him and especially by his loving wife Margaret, brother Con, sisters in law relatives and many friends to whom we offer our deepest sympathy. Eddie remains were removed from his brothers residence in Dingins to the Church of the Holy Family Loch Gowna on Monday evening and following requiem Mass on Tuesday burial took place in adjoining cemetery. May he rest in peace.
