Cake Sale: On Monday last week, our Second Year students held a bake sale at break and lunch. This was to fund raise for their upcoming trip to Italy later in the year. The bake sale was available to students and teachers to have a lovely treat at break. Well done to everyone who baked for this sale and all the second years who are working hard at their fundraising. The sale was a success.

Kayaking: Last Thursday, groups of students took to the water once more for a kayaking session. This is a very successful sport among students and it’s great to see so many people showing an interest. Thank you to Mr. Lyons and everyone involved in making this possible.

Sci-fest: We have many science project entries again this year for ‘Sci-Fest’ in Athlone. Students are working hard on their entries and are very excited to display their projects. This should be a great day out for students to show the work they have been doing in science class and gives them an opportunity to view the projects and ideas of other students in the area. A huge thanks to Mr. Lyons for getting this up and running and helping with projects.

Non-Uniform Day: Last Friday the school held a non-uniform day. This was to raise money for the Fifth Year’s graduation night. It was a success. We done to the Fifth Years involved in raising funds. We wish you all the best in your graduation preparations.

Ladies Football Training: Well done to everyone who continues to train for ladies football each week. Remember to keep bringing in your gear. It should be a good year for ladies football. Thanks to Mr. Divane for training the team each week.
