Catherine (Cassie) Grant (née Browne), Longford Town, Longford

The recent death has occurred of Catherine (Cassie) Grant (nee Browne), Longford town.

Beloved wife of the late Brian, Cassie will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons John, Philip and Chris, daughters Mary (Gray), Rita (Farrell), Ann -Therese, Martina (Murphy) and Ursula (Duggan), sister Pauline, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence on Monday, November 14 from 4pm until 8pm with family time thereafter. Removal on Tuesday, November 15, to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Longford Hospice, c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member. House private on Tuesday morning, please.

 

Aidan Halton, Lacken, Ballinagh, Co Cavan

The recent death has occurred on Friday, November 11 of Aidan Halton, Lacken, Ballinagh, Co Cavan, peacefully at the Mater Hospital Dublin, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his sisters Bridie and Sr. Frances. Deeply regretted by his wife Helen, son Eamonn, daughter-in-law Mary Rose, grandsons Aodhgan and David, his brother Tommy (Corduff), his sisters Betty Wilson (Mullahoran), Kathleen Corr (Dublin), nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

His remains were removed to St Michael’s Church, Potahee on Sunday, November 13. Funeral mass on Monday, November 14 at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

 

Maksymilian Lewandowski, Oaklands Green, Longford Town, Longford

The recent death has occurred on Thursday, November 10 of Maksymilian Lewandowski , Oaklands Green, Longford town.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Malgorzata and Andrzey and his loving sister Kinga, grandparents, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposed at Glennon's Funeral Home on Sunday, November 13. Removal on Monday, November 14 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family flowers only please donations if desired to a charity of choice

 

 

Mary McCauley (née McCrann), Drumard, Mohill, Co Leitrim

The recent death has occurred on Saturday, November 12 of Mary McCauley (née Mc Crann), Drumard, Mohill, Co Leitrim, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and the caring staff of Arus Carolan Nursing Home Mohill, in her 93rd year, predeceased by her husband Barney.

Deeply regretted by her loving sons Michael, Brian, Gerry and Sean, daughters-in-law Belinda, Roisin, Imelda and Mary, brother Paddy (Cloone), sister Bridie Jennings (New York), her 9 adored grandchildren, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.

Reposed at Arus Carolan Nursing Home Chapel, Mohill on Sunday, November 13. Removal to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Mohill this Monday morning November 14 for Funeral mass at 11am, followed by interment in the new cemetery, Mohill. Family time on Monday morning at Arus Carolan Chapel. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Arus Carolan Patient Comfort Fund.

 

Lorraine Smyth, 51 St Michael's Road, Longford Town, Longford / Crumlin, Dublin

The recent death has occurred on Friday, November 11 of Lorraine Smyth, 51 St Michael's Road, Longford town and formerly from Crumlin, Dublin. Lorraine died unexpectedly in Mullingar General Hospital.

Lorraine will be sadly missed by her loving family her sons Jason and Wayne, mother Ann, father Ben, brothers Derek and Bernard, relatives, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. May She Forever Rest In Peace.

Lorraine's remains will be reposing in Connell's Funeral Chapel, Church St, Longford on Monday, November 14 from 12 noon to 1.30pm with cremation afterward in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 3pm. Family flowers only donations, if desired, to Longford Hospice Home Care in c/o Connell Funeral Directors.

The recent death has occurred on Saturday, November 12 of Beatrice Bawle, Loughann, Newtowncashel, County Longford. Deeply regretted by her relatives, neighbours & friends. Rest in peace.

She is reposing at her home on Monday, November 14 and her Funeral Mass is on Tuesday November 15 at 12 noon in the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel followed by burial in Cashel Cemetery. No flowers please by requested donations if desired to Longford Hospice c/o Kellys Undertakers, Longford.

The recent death has occurred on Sunday, November 13  of Maureen Brady, Ardandra, Legan, Co Longford.

Deeply regretted by her Sister Kathleen (McCann), brother John, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, Monday evening November 14 from 5pm until 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Mass of the resurrection on Tuesday, November 15 in St Mary's Church Legan with burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery, Edgeworthstown.

The recent death has occurred on Saturday November 12 of Thomas Rocke, Clonbalt, Longford town.

Beloved husband of Angela and loving father of Aisling, Gary and Noelle. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Noel and Michael, sister Angela, brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Erin and Senan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow, Monday, November 14, from 4pm until 8pm and on Tuesday, November 15 from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday, November 16 to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
