The death occurred, peacefully on Thursday, October 27 at Cavan General Hospital, of Jimmy Cassidy, Rathcronan, Granard, Longford. Former bus driver. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his wife Colette, daughters Denise and Bernadette (Oldcastle), son David, grandchildren Becky, Rachel, Martin, Lauren and Jayden, sister Maud (England), brothers Larry (England) and Ted (Lismacaffrey), nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and his many friends.
Jimmy's remains reposed in Connell Funeral Chapel, Church Street, Longford on Sunday, October 30 from 5pm till 8pm. Jimmy's remains will arrive to St Mary's Church, Granard on Monday, October 31 for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Abbeylara Cemetery. Reposing at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown on Monday from 3pm with evening prayers at 4.45pm followed by removal to St Patrick's Church, Ballinamuck to arrive at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 1 at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Tubberpatrick Cemetery.

Removal on Monday morning arriving to the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall, Swords Road, Dublin for Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St Peter’s Cemetery, Drogheda.

The death occurred peacefully at the General Hospital, Mullingar on October 28 of Eilish Kelly, Coracorkey, Legan, Longford, who was previously in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown. Predeceased by her sister Mary Shanley and her brother John. Deeply regretted by her loving family Michael (Strokestown), Joe and Bridget (Coracorkey), and Margaret Neary (Tulsk), sister-in-law Nora, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Her remains were removed on Sunday to St Mary’s Church Legan. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in Kilglass cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Our Lady's Manor patient comfort fund.
