Sarah Brady (née Reynolds), 9 Sliabh Corglass, Moyne, Co Longford

The recent death has occurred on Thursday, September 29 of Sarah Brady (nee Reynolds), 9 Sliabh Corglass, Moyne, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her father Seamus, deeply regretted by her heartbroken family, husband Stephen, children Oisin and Caoimhe, mother Bridget, brothers Vincent and James, sister Jacqueline,aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law,relatives and friends. Rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence on Saturday, October 1 from 12 noon to 9pm with removal on Sunday afternoon October 2 to St Mary's Church, Legga arriving for 2.30pm funeral mass. Burial afterwards in Legga cemetery. House strictly private on Sunday morning.

 

Mary Connell (née Mullen), Soran, Ballinalee, Co Longford

The recent death has occurred on Friday, September 30, of Mary Connell (nee Mullen) , Soran, Ballinalee, Co Longford, peacefully in her family home in her 92nd year.

Predeceased by her loving husband Jack, her adored sons Micky, John and son-in-law Maurice. Mary will be sadly missed by her sons Paul, Tom, Davy, daughter Brid Kiely, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.

Mary's remains will repose in her family home on Saturday, October 1 from 11am to 9pm. Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, October 2 at 1pm in St Mary's Church, Ennybegs followed by burial in St Emer's Cemetery, Ballinalee. No flowers please. Family time on Sunday Morning please.

 

 

Marie Dermody (née Power), Ballycomoyle, Castlepollard, Westmeath

The death has occurred on Thursday, September 29 of Marie Dermody (née Power), Ballycomoyle, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath; peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the loving care of the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital at Mullingar. Beloved wife of John (Seán); sadly missed by her loving daughter Celeste, sons Michael, Seán, Finian; sister Sheila, brother Brendan, grandchildren Sabrina, Aishling, Caoimhe, Kieran, Paul and Colm; aunt Una, daughters-in-law Ann and Margaret, sister-in-law Joyce; Martina and Niamh, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at the St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan on Friday, September 30, from 4.30pm, followed by prayers at 6pm and removal to St Michael's Church, Castlepollard, arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 1 at 11am, with burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery.

 

Julia Finnan (née Brady), 19 Beechwood Park, Granard, Co Longford

The recent death has occurred on Friday, September 30, of Julia Finnan (nee Brady), 19 Beechwood Park, Granard, Co Longford, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her husband Mel. Sadly missed by her sons Ken, Mel, Alan, and Stephen, brothers, sisters, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours. May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Granard on Saturday, October 1 from 4pm to 6pm. Family time thereafter, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Granard arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass at 3pm on Sunday, October 2 followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to The Irish Cancer Society c/o Smith's Funeral Directors or any family member.

The death occurred on Sunday, September 25 of Bill Mitchell, Miskawn Glebe, Aughnasheelin, Leitrim at Sligo General Hospital. Deeply regretted by his wife Thelma, sons Stephen and Lee, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Lakeland Crematorium, Cavan on Saturday, October 1, from 4.30pm until 6pm. Funeral Service at 6pm.

 

John Muldoon, Sale, Manchester, England and formerly of Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford

The recent death has occurred on Sunday, September 24 of John Muldoon, Sale, Manchester, England and formerly of Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford, peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Annette, much loved dad of Anne, Ian, Fiona, Liam, Katherine and Sarah, treasured grandfather of Katherine, Niamh, Aoife and James; he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. RIP.

Removal on Monday, October 3 arriving at St Mary's Church, Lanesboro at 7pm.  Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 4 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonbonny Cemetery.

Beloved husband of Bridget loving father of Eileen (O'Neill), Liam, Caroline, Lisa and Brendan, brother of Mary Farrell (Ballinalee) Bridget O'Neill (Balbriggan) son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home today Friday September 30 until 9pm and on Saturday, October 1 from 12 noon. Funeral Mass on Sunday, October 2 at 1pm in St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Irish Guide Dogs Association or Cancer Society c/o Martin Farrell & Sons or any family member. House private on Sunday morning please.

Reposing at her residence until removal today, Friday, September 30, arriving at St Mary's Church, Drumlea at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, October 1 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private from 5pm on Friday evening please.

The death occurred on Saturday, September 24 of Bernadette Wrynn, Drumroosk South, Fenagh, Leitrim in Minnesota USA. She will be sadly missed by her loving family Moira (& Jim USA), Roseleen (UK), Margie (UK), Brian (Fenagh), Teresa (Carrick-on-Shannon), Eddie (Ballinamore), Carmel (UK) and Geraldine (Ballinaglera), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at the family home in Drumroosk South on Saturday, October 1 from 2pm until 5pm. Removal to St Mary’s Church, Foxfield on Saturday evening arriving at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday, October 2 at 11.30pm followed by burial in Fenagh Abbey Cemetery.
