Mary Browne (née Lynch), Ballymanus, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath

The recent death has occurred on Friday, September 16 of Mary Browne (nee Lynch), Ballymanus, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath in the loving care of the staff in St Camillus Nursing Centre Killucan.

Beloved Wife of the late Tom, peacefully surrounded by her family. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Goretti (Plunkett) sons Michael Joe, Tomas, Declan and Patrick, sisters Philomena Lynch, Bernie Ginnell, brother Thomas, grandchildren, Jonathan, Oliver, Edel, Rachel, Grace, Sinead, Shane, Manus, Jessica, Sarah and Laura. Great grandchildren, Cillian, Sean Óg, Tom, Charlie, Jack and Kate, son-in-law John daughters-in-law Kay, Ger, and Eilish, sister-in-law Kathleen, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing in St Camillus Nursing Home Centre Chapel on Saturday, September 17 from 4pm followed by Mass at 6pm. Removal arriving in St. Michaels Church Castlepollard at 8pm. Funeral Mass Sunday September 18 at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in St Brigid’s Cemetery Ballincree.

 

Dessie Fagan, Trumroe, Castlepollard, Westmeath

The recent death has occurred on Wednesday, September 14, of Dessie Fagan, Trumroe, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath; peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Loving husband of Marie and brother of Michael and Leo. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home in Trumroe, Castlepollard on Friday, September 16, from 4pm, followed by prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday, September 17 to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole, arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Whitehall Cemetery. House private on Saturday please.

The recent death occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 14,  at Portiuncla Hospital Ballinasloe of Jimmy Gibbons, Cagglebeg, Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen and much loved father of Margaret, Una, Dympna and Frank.He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother John, sister Margaret, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown on Friday, September 16, from 5pm until 8pm followed by removal to St Bridget's Church, Four-Mile-House to arrive at 8.30pm. approximately. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 17 at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballinderry Cemetery.

 

Tony Hynes, Abbeycarton, Longford Town/ Hollymount, Mayo

The recent death has occurred on Thursday, September 15, of Tony Hynes, Abbeycarton, Longford town and formerly of Caher, Hollymount, Co. Mayo (Retired Garda Inspector).

Beloved husband of the late Brenda. Predeceased by his brother Paddy and his sisters Nora and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Gerard, Alan and Stephen,sister Margaret, brother Jimmy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence on Saturday September 17, from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday September 19 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House private on Sunday please. The death has occurred on Wednesday, September 14 at North West Hospice, Sligo of Dan Kelly, Lisacoghill, Drumkeerin, Co Leitrim. Reposing at Fowley's Funeral Home, Dromahair on Friday, September 16 from 3pm until 4.45pm followed by removal to St Brigid's Church, Drumkeerin arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 17 at 11am, burial to follow in Curraghs Cemetery (Tarmon). Family flowers only, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. The recent death has occurred of Michael Lynch, Templemichael Glebe, Longford Town, Longford, and formerly of Cranary, Granard, Co Longford, peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, September 14. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anne and family, Geraldine, Marybeth (Swords), Monica (Eaton), Michael and Annmarie (Traynor), brother in law, sisters in law, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Friday, September 16 from 5pm until 7.30pm with prayers in the funeral home at 7pm. Removal on Saturday, September 17 to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm. Interment afterwards in Cullyfad Cemetery. The death has occurred of Bridie McManus (née Heslin), Dernacross, Ballinalee, Longford, peacefully at Mullingar Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 14. Predeceased by her husband Paddy. Deeply regretted by her loving son PJ, daughters Mary and Catriona (Columb), son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Eimear and Conor, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence today, Friday from 2pm until 5pm with family time thereafter. Removal to St Mary's Church, Ennybegs arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, followed by burial in local cemetery.

 

Francis (Frank) Molloy, Corteen, Longford town

The recent death has occurred on Monday, September 12 of Francis (Frank) Molloy, Corteen, Longford town.

Predeceased by his son Tony and his granddaughter Sarah. Frank will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Mary, daughter Anne, sons Joseph, Oliver and David, brothers Paddy and Mick, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
