The recent death has occurred of James (Jim) Boland (Boland’s Nursery) Coolatore, Rosemount, Moate, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 13. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Anne, sons Paul and James, beloved daughter Anne-Marie, daughter-in-law Wendy and adored granddaughter Aoife, brothers Simon, Patrick, Laurence (Abbeylara), John, Colm, Thomas (Tullamore), Donie, Mark and Andrew, sisters Catherine (Galway) and Agatha, aunt Mary (Hartnup), uncle Hillary Kinahan (Enniskillen), mother-in-law Mary Ann McLoughlin (Clarehill, Ballymore), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. May He Rest in Peace.

Removal on Friday morning, September 16 to St Thomas’s Church, Rosemount, arriving at 10.45am for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at 11am burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. As a mark of respect Boland’s Nursery will remain closed until Monday, September 19.

 

Mary Dunne (née McGrane), Hightown, Coralstown, Mullingar, Westmeath

The recent death has occurred of Mary Dunne (née McGrane) of Hightown, Coralstown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, on Tuesday, September 13, (peacefully) in the loving care of the Matron and staff of St Camillus Nursing Home, Killucan surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her husband James, son Michael, daughter Dympna, deeply regretted by her loving family, Mary, Marna, Seamus, Bernie, Kevin, Pat, Martina, Paul, Carmel, Jodie, and Ollie, brother Larry, sisters Áine and Eileen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass on Friday, September 16 at 12 noon in St. Agnes’ Church, Coralstown with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The recent death has occurred on Wednesday, September 14, of Dessie Fagan, Trumroe, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath; peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Loving husband of Marie and brother of Michael and Leo. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home in Trumroe, Castlepollard on Friday, September 16, from 4pm, followed by prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday, September 17 to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole, arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Whitehall Cemetery. House private on Saturday please.

The recent death has occurred of Celine Gilbride (née Connolly) Dooard, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim on Tuesday, September 13, beloved wife of the late Josie and dear mother of Pat, Mary, Catherine and Liam.Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, family circle and friends.

Funeral Mass on Friday, September 16 at 2pm followed by interment in Rossinver Cemetery.

The recent death has occurred on Thursday, September 15, of Tony Hynes, Abbeycarton, Longford town and formerly of Caher, Hollymount, Co. Mayo (Retired Garda Inspector).

Beloved husband of the late Brenda. Predeceased by his brother Paddy and his sisters Nora and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Gerard, Alan and Stephen,sister Margaret, brother Jimmy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his residence on Saturday September 17, from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday September 19 to arrive at St Mel's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House private on Sunday please. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 17 at 11am, burial to follow in Curraghs Cemetery (Tarmon). Family flowers only, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. The death has occurred of Bridie McManus (née Heslin), Dernacross, Ballinalee, Longford, peacefully at Mullingar Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 14. Predeceased by her husband Paddy. Deeply regretted by her loving son PJ, daughters Mary and Catriona (Columb), son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Eimear and Conor, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence today, Friday from 2pm until 5pm with family time thereafter. Removal to St Mary's Church, Ennybegs arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, followed by burial in local cemetery.

The recent death has occurred on Monday, September 12 of Francis (Frank) Molloy, Corteen, Longford town.

Predeceased by his son Tony and his granddaughter Sarah.
