Make road safety a priority this weekend

Following a particularly tragic week on Irish roads,  the Gardai and the Road Safety Authority (RSA) have renewed their August Bank Holiday Road Safety Campaign .

Twelve people have died following road traffic collisions in the last five days on Irish  roads. Lives have been cut short and families across the country left devastated as a result of these appalling events.

With traffic volumes expected to be particularly high this weekend, road users are urged to take care on Irish roads.  Let’s all make road safety a priority this weekend so that you can get home to your loved ones, and they can get home to you.
