The second annual 3 Province Cycle in aid of St Christopher's Services, Longford will take place on Sunday, May 29.
The event, which features a 75 kilometre or 40 kilometre looped route (departing towards Arva for 75 km or Mohill for 40 km), starts from Drumlish Community Centre, with registration getting underway at 9am.
Ganly’s are the main sponsors of the 3 Province Cycle and cyclists will embark on their challenge at 10am for 75 km and at 10.30am for 40 km.
Refreshments, provided by Dial A Chef and Beirne’s Bar, Mohill, will be provided at the halfway point and finish.
Parking and showers will be available to all cyclists and the entry fee is €20 on the day or presentation of a sponsorship card. Helmet and roadworthy bike are a must.
One of the organisers Richard Pym explained, “Based on the success of 2015, The 3 Province Cycle Team are confident the cycle on Sunday, May 29 will be an excellent event. It is also for an excellent cause, St Christopher’s Services.”
