In the coming days Colmcille GAA Club will run a novel fundraising event in conjunction with the presentation of medals to the successful U21 Championship Winning Team of 2015.
This event will take place at the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva on Saturday, April 16 next.
“As part of the exciting fundraiser there will be a Player’s Labour Auction taking place whereby a number of the players and business people will be for sale to do a day’s labour,” chairperson Ciaran Farrelly told the Leader.
“The affable Myles Reilly is the auctioneer on the night and the people available for sale will do many various types of work including painting, digger work, power washing, carpentry, dressmaking, turf lifting and window cleaning - to mention but a few!”
The fundraising night commences at 7:30pm with a buffet meal.
Thereafter the presentation of medals will take place and that will subsequently be followed by the Auction with dancing to the band ‘Nite Fever’. Everyone is welcome to come along on the night and support this very worthy cause.
