It was all too easy for Ballymahon Vocational School as they claimed the North Leinster Senior ‘D’ Football title with a most emphatic 16 point win over Ratoath College in the final at the Kinnegad GAA grounds on Saturday last.

It was all too easy for Ballymahon Vocational School as they claimed the North Leinster Senior ‘D’ Football title with a most emphatic 16 point win over Ratoath College in the final at the Kinnegad GAA grounds on Saturday last.

The south Longford school were in cruise control and dominated the game from start to finish with Ratoath staging a late rally to put some respectability on the scoreline.

This game was over as a contest at the break with Ballymahon VS leading by 15 points, 2-10 to 0-1, with goals coming from Sean Kelly and Conor Dillon. Defender Shane Farrell and substitute Thomas Lennon added further goals in the second half.
