At 7pm in our clubhouse we will launch a history of the GAA in Granard from 1888 to the present day. We have called the book ‘The Granard GAA Story 125 years’ and we believe it will be of interest to everyone (and their families) who have had any connection with our club over the years. The book is based on newspaper reports (mainly from the Longford Leader) and covers both the good and not so good times for the GAA in Granard with team photos from 1915 to 2012. It is a hardback book with 570 pages and will be selling at 25 euro each. The book will go on sale at 6.30pm on Friday in our clubhouse and everyone is invited to attend.
